Where in Tampa can I watch airplanes take off and land?
I just want to sit on top of my car or anywhere and watch airplanes take off. It’s hard to get close to the airport these days, so where in Tampa is there to just park and watch?
NOT the parking areas at Tampa airport as the view would be bad. The few times I have flown out’ve Tampa we have taken off towards the south and landed from the south. So I would say some where near west shore plaza mall on the south side of I-275 would be nearly ideal.
When I have flown into TBA from the north, we came down the coast and turned near the Skyway bridge to make our approach,,, flying in from Miami, we crossed the Skyway as well
