How to take really amazing photos like this (link included)?
So I have a Tumblr account and I always see these amazing images that in my mind scream "cool alternative to seeking a lighting genius" like this: http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ldohrl4jVq1qbo3bfo1_500.jpg or this: http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ldn4td2C2M1qekyleo1_500.jpg and I would be able to take pictures like that with lighting. Is effect added to a photo or later is what the camera captured? people have facebook profile pictures like that too and it is simply incredible and yes, thank you very much! ps if it's important that I would mount on a mac book pro and I have a Nikon D7000 (I think that whether its 6000 or do I remember) thank you sooo much !!!!!!!!
The former can be as easy as changing the exposure setting on your camera if you have one, you can set the first manual. The other option is Photoshop. The second can also be done in Photoshop, but I just bought a Nikon D3100 allows me to take a picture of a sepia tone image right into the camera. Try Photoshop Elements (9-I seems most common).
