There are model airplane kits available from HobbyCraft…?
which are like airfix, cost about £15, but can be made as models, or into RC planes if bought with the RC parts (basically by inserting electric, gas or petrol engines)! Does anyone know what companies make these?
I saw them in store (quite a collection of them in cardboard boxes about 60cm by 15cm by 10cm) last week and forgot the manufacturers name! *doh*
Heya! Thanks for the info, but I like building stuff and doing the electronics rather than flying etc.
For instant, I built a matchstick model boat (of my own design) recently and fitted up to be rc, after a test it went on the shelf to make room for my next project!
