Does anybody know the name of an American film about two unlikely friends?
One of the friends is an overweight kid, the other is a kid with a disability (not sure what the disability is, but the kid’s on crutches). The disabled lad had a radio-controlled aeroplane. He moves in next door to the other kid with his mother. I can only remember bits of the film, but I know there’s one point in the film where a gang of bullies are trying to fight the two friends and the larger kid makes the other kid get on his shoulders so he can reach a fire escape and not get hurt. I don’t want to spoil the ending, but if it helps someone come up with the name of the film I know what happens at the end.
