Radio Controlled Model Airplanes Electric

Can magnets damage or be damaged by radio controlled electronics?

I am doing a science project that involves a radio controlled model airplane (it’s a “hover car” type thing with model airplane characteristics) and it has magnets on its outer surface. Will the magnets or the “hover car’s” electric engine be damaged by being in close contact?

no, magnets are not damaged by radio signals or by electronic components.

but your next sentence asks something different.

“Will the magnets or the “hover car’s” electric engine be damaged by being in close contact (with the other magnets) ?”

it’s an electric motor. but probably not. while a weak permanent magnet can be modified by a stronger one, it appears that the distances are too big for this to happen here.
