First time rc pilot… what does left throttle, right throttle, and television mean on the cessna 747 rc plane?
I just got the cessna 747 rc airplane from ebay and i put it together… since this is the first time buying a rc airplane, i don’t quite know what the controls mean…
ON THE CONTROLLER:
what does left and right throttle mean?
what does television mean?
ON THE AIRPLANE:
what is the black tied up cord that is sticking out of the tail for?
Hi Orador,
As someone who flies real airplanes, I don’t mind seeing these questions in this category.
From what I’ve found:
The black cord is the antenna that receives the signals from the controller.
I’ve looked online for that rc plane and see that it has 1 engine.
So, I would guess that right and left throttle might control yaw.
(Which is turning the nose left or right. This is different from banking the airplane to turn)
Either that, or the company uses the same controller for different models. So that function may do nothing.
I have no idea what ‘television’ means in this context.
I found a website that might be help you out. It’s for rc plane pilots.
